Who can take part

  • Be male and age 18 or older
  • Have prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy within the last 6 months
  • Have a recent PSA blood test (within 60 days) and be in the trial’s intermediate-risk category
  • Have scans showing no spread to bones (bone scan within 4 months) and no spread to pelvic lymph nodes (pelvic CT or MRI within 4 months)
  • Have not taken hormone therapy for prostate cancer in the past year (including shots like degarelix/leuprolide or pills like bicalutamide/finasteride)
  • Have safe bloodwork and organ function (not severely low hemoglobin/platelets, low albumin, or significant kidney/liver problems)
