  • You have a severe bacterial lung infection from the community (pneumonia) and/or sepsis.
  • Your infection is considered severe based on common medical scoring (SOFA score above 2).
  • You can follow all study instructions and complete required study tests.
  • You can give informed consent (or have it provided appropriately).
  • You have not had certain key health conditions or medicines that could affect results.
