Who can take part

  • You are a child age 6 or older, or an adult
  • Your C3 glomerulopathy or dense deposit disease was confirmed by a kidney biopsy within the last 2 years
  • At the start, you either are not on kidney-targeting medicines or you are taking one of these: aliskiren, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers, or immune medicines like mycophenolate or steroids
  • Your kidney function is high enough: not too low by the trial’s measured clearance level (varies for children vs adults)
  • You can safely take the medicines—no known allergy to aliskiren or enalapril/ACE inhibitors
