Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 70 years old.
- You have a sibling or a family member who is a half-match (haplo-identical) donor ready for transplant.
- Your MDS is at least intermediate-2 risk by IPSS, or intermediate-1 with certain high-risk features, or therapy-related MDS.
- You are generally well (ECOG 0-2) and have adequate heart, liver, and kidney function.
- You have not had intensive chemotherapy or a demethylating agent for this MDS stage.
