Testing propranolol vs ivabradine for POTS symptoms

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS)
  • You are age 18 to 60
  • You can give informed consent and are able to follow study instructions
  • Your resting heart rate while sitting is not below 70 beats per minute without heart-rate–lowering meds
  • Your blood pressure while lying down is not below 90/60
  • No major heart rhythm/heart structure problems, pacemaker/ICD, or known coronary heart disease
