- You have a clinician diagnosis of a potentially life-threatening neurologic illness
- You were admitted to a Neuro ICU within 14 days of your initial injury
- You do not have pre-existing neurologic problems caused by a developmental condition
- You do not have a history of a severe stroke
- You do not have a history of severe dementia
- You do not have a history of a severe head injury
