Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • A CT scan has confirmed you have a bleed inside your brain (called spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage)
  • Your symptoms started within the last 24 hours (or you were last seen well less than 24 hours ago)
  • You do not have any medical plans to limit or avoid life-saving treatments
  • You do not have a terminal illness that gives you less than 6 months to live
  • Your bleed is not caused by a brain tumor or a blood clot in a vein in your brain
