This Phase 1 study tests BTX-A51 in adults with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Who can take part

  • You must be age 18 or older and willing to sign informed consent
  • You have AML or high-risk MDS that has come back or did not respond, and you can’t use standard options that would likely help
  • Your body must be able to handle treatment based on recent organ tests (kidney, liver, and certain enzyme levels)
  • Your overall health status must be good enough for study participation (performance score 2 or less) and you must have at least 6 weeks of expected survival
  • You must agree to pregnancy prevention rules during the study and for up to 3 months after the last dose
