  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have an isolated small lung blood clot (subsegmental pulmonary embolism), diagnosed by testing
  • You can sign (or legally have someone sign) informed consent to join the study
  • There are no blood clots in the legs or upper arms (like deep vein thrombosis)
  • You do not have active bleeding or a high risk of bleeding
  • Your kidneys and liver are working well enough for the study
