This study tests whether a gentle electrical current (called tDCS) applied to the scalp can help with brain function after a traumatic brain injury. You may be eligible if you had a TBI at least 2 years ago and are right-handed.

Who can take part

  • You have had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) for at least 2 years.
  • You are right-handed.
  • You speak English.
  • You do not have uncorrected vision or hearing problems.
  • You have never had a stroke or other brain condition (like a learning disorder) before your TBI.
  • You are safe to have an MRI (not claustrophobic, no metal implants, and not pregnant).
