LAM561 for children with advanced brain or solid tumors

Who can take part
- Be under 18 years old.
- Have advanced cancer that keeps growing or has come back, or has no standard treatment (the study includes high-grade glioma and related brain tumors).
- Start the study drug within 14 days of enrolling, and complete required screening tests soon before enrollment.
- Be able to do cancer care activities most of the time (a performance score of at least 50%) and be able to get tumor scans (CT/MRI, or other standard imaging like PET if needed).
- Be able to take the drug by mouth (or through a feeding tube like a NG/G-tube).
- Have blood, liver, and kidney tests that are strong enough for treatment, and have a normal heart electrical reading (QTc not prolonged) at screening.
