Who can take part

  • Ages 2 to 17 years old
  • Diagnosed with a low-grade (slow-growing) brain tumor called low-grade glioma, confirmed by tissue sample
  • Your tumor has a specific change in the BRAF gene (either a BRAF V600E mutation or a KIAA1549-BRAF fusion)
  • You need treatment because the tumor is growing, came back after surgery, or cannot be fully removed
  • The tumor can be measured on an MRI scan and is at least 1 centimeter across
  • You have not received certain cancer drugs or vaccines recently, and have not taken drugs like selumetinib or dabrafenib before
  • You are generally well enough to carry out daily activities (performance score 70 or higher)
