Who can take part
- You’re a woman age 40 or older (and not pregnant or breastfeeding).
- Your breast cancer is HER2-positive, with specific lab results showing a “HER2-enriched/high” pattern.
- Your tumor is small (≤2 cm), only one tumor area is present, and scans/tests show no spread to lymph nodes or distant organs.
- You must be eligible for taxane medicine (a common chemotherapy drug class) and able to receive the standard pre-surgery anti-HER2 treatment.
- You must be able/willing to follow the study schedule and agree to skip surgery if you fully qualify after the pre-surgery treatment response.
