Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older).
  • You have shortness of breath and severe emphysema (lung air sacs are damaged).
  • Your breathing tests/showing scans suggest low collateral ventilation (little natural backup airflow between lung areas).
  • You can understand the study and sign consent of your own free will.
  • You must be a candidate for SVS therapy based on the FDA-approved instructions for use.
  • You must have complete screening and baseline information, and you cannot have been previously withdrawn from this study.
