Who can take part

  • You must have hairy cell leukemia (HCL) or a variant that has come back or not responded to at least one prior treatment.
  • Your cancer cells must not have a BRAF mutation (BRAF wild type).
  • You need to have a low blood count, an enlarged spleen, or other signs that you need treatment.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your liver, kidney, and blood clotting function must meet certain levels.
  • You cannot have had chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation in the last 2 weeks.
  • You must be willing to use effective birth control if you could become pregnant or get someone pregnant.
