Who can take part

  • You must have hairy cell leukemia with the BRAF V600E mutation.
  • For the first part of the study, you must have had at least one prior treatment with a purine analog (such as fludarabine, pentostatin, or cladribine).
  • For the second part, you must have had no prior treatment for HCL.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your blood counts or symptoms must show that treatment is needed, such as low neutrophil count, low platelets, low hemoglobin, or other signs like infections or enlarged spleen.
  • You must be willing to use effective contraception during and for 12 months after treatment.
