Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have stage I–III HER2-positive breast cancer and plan to have surgery after “neoadjuvant” treatment (treatment before surgery)
- Your planned before-surgery treatment will be either THP (paclitaxel + trastuzumab + pertuzumab) or TCHP (docetaxel + carboplatin + trastuzumab + pertuzumab)
- Your health counts are high enough (white blood cells, lymphocytes, neutrophils, and platelets) based on recent blood tests
- Your heart pumping strength is acceptable on an exam (echo/MUGA) done within 3 months
- You can use reliable birth control and are not pregnant or breastfeeding
