Who can take part

  • You are planning an allogeneic stem cell transplant (donor cells) for any illness
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You are well enough to do everyday activities (Karnofsky score over 70)
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
  • You do not have serious ongoing gut problems like malabsorption, short bowel, or bile-related diarrhea
  • You are not having moderate-to-severe stomach or bowel symptoms at enrollment (Grade 2 or higher)
