Who can take part

  • Be a girl age 9 to 17
  • Start your first period (menarche) within 11 months before the study visit
  • If you’re being seen at the University of Rochester site: have a mother or aunt with PCOS
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • No ovarian surgery history
  • Avoid certain medicines/supplements that can affect hormones or metabolism in the last 2 months
