- Be a girl age 9 to 17
- Start your first period (menarche) within 11 months before the study visit
- If you’re being seen at the University of Rochester site: have a mother or aunt with PCOS
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
- No ovarian surgery history
- Avoid certain medicines/supplements that can affect hormones or metabolism in the last 2 months
