Who can take part

  • You are a mid- to late-pubertal girl: at least Tanner stage 3 and within 2 years after your first period
  • Blood tests or symptoms show high androgens (for example, unwanted facial/body hair)
  • You are generally healthy, except for being overweight/obese, high androgens, and well-treated hypothyroidism
  • You (or your parent/guardian) can agree to take part: assent/consent is required
  • You will not get pregnant during the study and will use reliable non-hormone birth control
