Who can take part

  • Your baby is in the NICU at one of the study hospitals
  • Both parents (or legal representatives) can sign the consent form
  • Your baby was born before 29 weeks of pregnancy
  • Your baby is already receiving caffeine and a well-dosed plan (per the trial)
  • Your baby is on noninvasive breathing support (like nasal CPAP or similar) or a noninvasive ventilator setup
  • Your baby has apnea (breathing pauses) that require a medical intervention
