Who can take part
- You are a man over 18 years old
- You have a spinal cord injury (SCI) that is either incomplete above L1, or complete from T2 to L1, and you’ve had spasticity (stiffness) for over 60 days
- Blood tests show low testosterone (or low related forms of testosterone)
- You have signs or symptoms that can happen with low testosterone (example: low sex drive, erectile problems, low energy, mood changes, hot flashes, low muscle/strength, or low bone health)
- You can walk in testing: your usual pace is very slow, or a bit faster but you need a brace/device or have very impaired movement (checked with a timed walking test)
- You are willing and medically cleared to take testosterone as directed and follow the study rules
