Who can take part

  • Be age 66 or older and currently hospitalized at the University Hospital of Amiens
  • Have an uncomplicated bone or joint infection (not complicated by other issues)
  • Have a plan to switch from IV antibiotics to oral ofloxacin (pills)
  • Be willing to participate in the study
  • No known liver or bile duct injury or damage
  • No allergy or other reason you cannot take ofloxacin
