Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and expected to live at least 2 years
  • You are scheduled for elective (planned) bypass surgery for multiple blocked heart vessels
  • Your surgeon plans a left internal mammary artery (LIMA) graft to your LAD artery and it is feasible
  • The target artery has a blockage or very tight narrowing and is large enough (at least 2 mm) with good blood flow beyond the blockage
  • You can agree to the study and allow follow-up scans and a heart catheter test (coronary angiogram)
