Who can take part
- You are between 45 and 75 years old.
- You need bypass surgery to at least two heart arteries, and your surgeon has identified that you do not have enough good-quality leg vein (saphenous vein) for the grafts.
- You have not had any prior open heart surgery.
- You are not on blood thinners or have a bleeding/clotting disorder, and you are willing to take blood thinners after surgery.
- You do not have serious kidney disease (GFR < 45), severe lung disease, or poorly controlled diabetes (HbA1c > 8%).
