Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- Your cardiac arrest was caused by ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia.
- You have coronary artery disease and you had complete blockage treatment (stents/PCI or bypass/CABG) before getting the ICD.
- Your heart pumping strength (LVEF) is greater than 35% at discharge.
- The cause of your arrest was not from a non-ischemic heart problem (like certain ion channel diseases or non-ischemic cardiomyopathy).
- You can consent to the study, and you are not pregnant.
