Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and willing to have a heart device (ICD) placed.
- Your heart pumps at 35% or less due to blocked arteries (ischemic cardiomyopathy).
- You have extra risk signs like short bursts of fast heartbeat or many extra beats.
- You do not already have an ICD or CRT-D device.
- You have not had a sustained dangerous heart rhythm or a heart attack in the last 3 months.
