Who can take part

  • You have aphasia diagnosed by a speech-language pathologist (SLP) about 7 months after a stroke
  • You have apraxia of speech diagnosed by an SLP about 7 months after a stroke
  • You do not have dementia
  • You do not have severe vision problems
  • You do not have severe hearing problems
  • You can safely have an MRI scan (no metal implants that block MRI, and you are not strongly claustrophobic)
