Who can take part

  • You had an ischemic or bleeding stroke on the left side of the brain at least 12 months ago
  • You mainly speak English (for about 20 years or more)
  • You can understand study details and consent, or have someone who can consent for you
  • You’re between 21 and 80 years old
  • You can safely have an MRI on a 3-tesla (3T) scanner (not claustrophobic and no unsafe metal implants)
  • Your speech and understanding are not severely impaired (you must be able to participate and communicate enough for testing)
