Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 90 years old.
  • You were right-handed before your stroke.
  • You speak English well.
  • You had a single stroke caused by a blockage in the middle cerebral artery (a main brain artery) on one side.
  • You have aphasia (trouble with language after stroke).
  • You are either in the early days after stroke or your stroke happened more than 12 months ago, and you are medically stable.
