Who can take part

  • You must be scheduled for a bronchoscopy at MD Anderson (MDACC) or Houston Methodist.
  • You must agree to do extra study airway brushing during the bronchoscopy, beyond the usual medical samples.
  • You need bronchiolitis obliterans (BOS) or be undergoing screening bronchoscopy where lung function changes are being checked.
  • If you have BOS, your lung test (FEV1) must fit the trial’s specific timing/stage ranges or be stable for screening.
  • You cannot have the bronchoscopy done as an emergency for a life-threatening problem, and you must be willing to sign consent.
