Who can take part

  • Be between 15 and 20 years old when you join the study
  • Have felt the kneecap slipping, or have had a kneecap dislocation or near-dislocation
  • Live in the Faroe Islands (be Faroese)
  • If you’re under 18, a parent must give written consent
  • Be able to answer questionnaires by yourself (or meaningfully participate) and cooperate with study visits
  • Not have a terminal illness
