Who can take part

  • Be 25 years old or younger
  • Have had only one kneecap dislocation episode (first-time dislocator)
  • Your kneecap instability must be only one event—no repeat dislocations
  • You must not have had prior kneecap/joint-stabilizing surgery on the affected knee
  • You should not have a large cartilage tear in the affected knee
