Who can take part

  • You agree to sign the study consent form
  • Your prostate cancer has been confirmed as adenocarcinoma (a specific prostate cancer type)
  • Your cancer has spread (M1), but you do not have a high number of spots (fewer than 5 bone metastases and no spread to organs like the lung/liver)
  • You have not had prostate cancer treatment before, except hormone therapy (and you plan to stay on it longer than 9 months)
  • You are well enough for study activities (performance status 0 to 2) and can complete quality-of-life questionnaires
  • If you might be assigned to brachytherapy, your bladder and prostate size must be suitable, and you must not have had certain prostate procedures before
