Who can take part
- You have rectal adenocarcinoma confirmed by biopsy
- Your tumor is MSI-H or dMMR (lab testing on tumor tissue)
- You have not had any prior treatment for this rectal cancer
- The cancer has not spread to distant organs (only certain nearby lymph nodes allowed), and the tumor is within 15 cm of the anus
- You are age 18 or older, and your health is good enough (typical status score 0–1)
- Your blood counts and liver/kidney/thyroid/heart tests must meet specific thresholds
