Who can take part

  • You must be over 18 and under 80 years old
  • If you have spinal deformity: it must be confirmed on EOS imaging
  • You must be able to walk on your own: at least 50 meters (deformity group) or 1000 meters (control group)
  • You should not have conditions that strongly affect balance, such as stroke or inner-ear (vestibular) problems
  • You must not have had spinal fusion surgery (if you’re in the spinal deformity group)
  • You must not have severe leg/hip/knee/ankle joint problems that limit movement (like very severe arthritis or a big leg-length difference)
