Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are between 19 weeks 0 days and 25 weeks 6 days pregnant at enrollment
  • Your baby has myelomeningocele with hindbrain herniation (confirmed by ultrasound and MRI at the study center)
  • You are eligible for fetal surgery under the MOMS trial rules (this trial uses the same screen)
  • Your blood test results are compatible: normal chromosome testing (karyotype), and certain infections are negative
