Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a stroke with moderate to severe symptoms (NIHSS between 6 and 20)
- Have an ischemic stroke where clot-reopening therapy was not done (no IV tPA/thrombolysis and no endovascular clot removal) or symptoms worsen within 48 hours
- Before this stroke, be independent or nearly independent (mRS 0–1)
- Be able to sign informed consent
- Not have major exclusion issues like bleeding risk, very low platelets, major liver/kidney problems, or dangerously high blood pressure
