  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 27 and 45
  • You have prediabetes, such as A1c 5.7 to 6.4
  • Your prediabetes is due to impaired fasting glucose or impaired glucose tolerance
  • You do not have diabetes
  • You are not taking diabetes medications regularly
