Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis that fits autoimmune muscle disease criteria (EULAR/ACR 2017 or Connors criteria)
  • You do not have any current or past cancer (neoplasia)
  • You are not pregnant (or planning pregnancy during the study)
  • You do not have an implanted heart device like a pacemaker
  • You do not have metal clips in the body from prior procedures (especially in the “visceral” area)
  • You do not have certain infections such as HIV, HTLV-1, hepatitis, or similar infections
