Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • For MS patients: your EDSS score is between 2 and 6.5. (EDSS measures disability; 2 means some disability but able to walk, 6.5 means need two walking aids.)
  • No MS relapse or steroid use in the last 3 months.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan safely.
  • You do not have a condition that makes tDCS (a gentle electrical stimulation on the scalp) unsafe.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study.
