Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have an acute stroke where reopening the artery is recommended (clot-busting IV medicine and/or clot-removal procedure).
- Be able to consent to the study (or have a trusted family member/representative consent if you can’t).

- Be able to safely have an MRI scan (no strong claustrophobia and no implanted devices that block MRI).
