This study looks for biological and imaging markers that may predict heart/vascular outcomes after an ischemic stroke. You may join if you are eligible for standard stroke treatment and can complete planned follow-up and MRI scans.

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have an ischemic stroke confirmed on MRI
  • Have a blockage in a main artery in the brain (M1 and/or M2)
  • Be eligible for thrombolysis and/or thrombectomy (standard stroke treatments)
  • Be able to give consent (or have next of kin consent) and complete follow-up at 3 months at Pierre Wertheimer Hospital in Lyon
  • Have a social security number
