This study follows adults who are hospitalized after a type of brain bleed called primary intracerebral hemorrhage. It mainly tracks what happens after the bleeding to help doctors understand outcomes and care needs.

Who can take part
- You must be older than 18 and hospitalized for primary brain bleeding
- Your brain bleed must not be caused by another problem (not from stroke changes, aneurysm, malformation, clot, injury, or tumor)
- The bleed should not be only in the brain’s ventricles, and it should not be a subarachnoid bleed
- You must not have had surgery to remove (evacuate) the blood from the brain
- You must be able to have blood tests and an MRI (and not refuse them)
- You must be able to be followed over time; you should not die within 24 hours, and you must not be pregnant
