Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have acute kidney injury with an estimated GFR under 45
  • You have confirmed TMA either by blood tests showing signs of hemolysis and low platelets, or by kidney biopsy
  • Your TMA is from a complement-related cause such as atypical HUS, hypertensive emergency, pregnancy/postpartum, kidney donor recipient, or certain autoimmune diseases
  • You can understand the study, sign consent, and follow study visits/tests
