Who can take part
- You (or your parent/guardian) must sign a consent form in writing
- Your care plan must call for using the EXCOR heart pump on the right side and/or both sides, based on clinical indications
- You must be on the transplant waiting list or be considered eligible for a heart transplant
- Your body size (body surface area) must be at least 1.2 m²
- You must not have any reasons that would rule out the EXCOR heart pump (called contraindications)
