Who can take part

  • You have confirmed non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in a central area, or pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in the pancreas
  • Your cancer can be measured on scans (a visible spot at least 20 mm on standard imaging, or 10 mm on specific CT/MRI methods)
  • If you have lung cancer: it must be unresectable or you can’t have surgery, and there must be no lymph node spread (N0); tumor size must be 5 cm or less
  • If you have pancreatic cancer: it must be locally advanced/unresectable (near major blood vessels) and you must have finished at least 3 months of standard chemotherapy with no more than a 10-week break before this study
  • No distant spread (no metastases), and you must be at least 18 with good enough blood counts and organ function
  • You must be able to follow breathing instructions for the MRI-guided treatment, and you must be willing to use birth control during the study
