Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • Your platelet count is under 100, measured twice, and follow-up tests show it is real (not a lab artifact) and not acute leukemia
  • You have not started any treatment for low platelets yet (except up to 48 hours of corticosteroids may be allowed)
  • You can sign informed consent, and you are covered by a social security health plan
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not under legal guardianship or similar protections
