- You are 18 years or older.
- Your bone loss is from a traumatic injury (not from a tumor).
- Your care team says you are eligible for the induced membrane surgical technique.
- You do not have a weakened immune system or take medicines that suppress your immune system.
- You do not have certain long-term inflammatory conditions (like diabetes or inflammatory bowel disease).
