Who can take part
- Your baby was born at 36 weeks or later
- Your baby’s birth weight was 2.5 to 4 kg
- Your baby is between 6 and 72 hours old when the treatment starts
- An ultrasound of the heart (echocardiogram) confirms persistent lung blood pressure problems
- Your baby needs a breathing machine (mechanical ventilation) and has high oxygen needs (OI > 30 on two checks)
- Your baby can start treatment after consent is obtained
